Issue description
On Acumatica forms that include address lookup functionality, such as the Leads form, the Address Lookup button no longer works (for customers using the Azure maps plug-in). When a user clicks the button, the system cannot retrieve address suggestions or search results, so users cannot currently use address search to find and populate address information.
Customers utilizing other address providers should see no error, and Address Lookup will work normally. |
Microsoft retired the Azure Maps Web SDK Map Control version 2.0.x and the Azure Maps Service module on September 30, 2026. With the Azure configuration, Acumatica ERP relied on this SDK version address lookup functionality, and the Microsoft URL configured on the Address Providers (for the Azure configuration) form is no longer available. As a result, address lookup is non-functional on all supported versions of Acumatica ERP using Azure maps plug-in.
Root cause
This is a known issue in all supported versions of Acumatica ERP.
Solution
We are actively working on the issue resolution, and we will update this article with more details as they become available.
Workaround
There is no workaround that would enable the address lookup within Acumatica, users can search the web for their address verification while we are working on the possible workaround options.
