Issue description
Issue 1: On the Trial Balance (GL3030PL) form, if a user attempted to release a trial balance that contained balances for denominated (foreign currency) cash accounts, the release process could fail. In this case, the system displayed the following error message: GL Error: Cash account doesn't exist for this branch, account and subaccount.
Issue 2: The issue also affected the Recalculate Account Balances (CA503000) form. When a user recalculated account balances for the affected cash accounts, related CA transactions were not created for some general ledger transactions, which prevented users from completing cash account reconciliation. The system displayed the following error message: CA Error: The process cannot be completed. Please contact support service.
Root cause
This is a known issue in the following builds of Acumatica ERP:
2026 R1 GA (Build 26.100.0175.3) and earlier
2026 R1 Service Pack 1 (Build 26.101.0225)
Solution
Upgrade to one of the following builds of Acumatica ERP:
2026 R1 GA (Build 26.100.0175.4) and later
2026 R1 Service Pack 1 ( Build 26.101.0225.1) and later
Workaround
Use one of the following options as a workaround.
Option 1: As a workaround, users can temporarily deactivate the cash account, release the trial balance, and then activate the cash account again.
However, after the cash account is reactivated, the system could fail when the user runs the recalculate account balances process to generate the related cash transactions. The following error message can be displayed: CA Error: The process cannot be completed. Please contact support service.
Option 2: As a temporary workaround, you can import the AC376806.zip customization package, which is attached to this article, and publish the customization project. After you upgrade the system to the version that includes the fix for this issue, you must unpublish this customization project.
Please be aware that Acumatica Engineering does not provide further support for hotfix customizations. The next regular product update may break the solution.
